Oil Painting for Beginners - Class #2

This class is designed for beginner artists who have completed the Oil Painting for  Beginners - #1 course. This is highly recommended to ensure a smooth transition into the slightly more advanced curriculum.

What You'll Learn:

  • Exploring Textures: Learn how to intricately capture the details of various surfaces, from shiny glass to delicate flower petals.

  • Mastering Atmospheric Effects: Create a moody atmospheric landscape while mastering the elusive misty effect, and learn to paint realistic clouds.

  • Advanced Techniques: Expand your techniques with in-depth exploration of glazing, allowing you to achieve luminous depth and richness in your paintings.

Course Structure:

  • Weekly In-Person Sessions: Join us for 2 hours each week with step-by-step guidance, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

  • Practical Application: For the course of 6 weeks, apply your newfound knowledge and techniques to create stunning works of art under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

Course Goals: By the end of the class, you will have expanded your artistic toolkit with more advanced techniques and insights, empowering you to confidently tackle a wider range of subject matter independently.
